FREE-BEE
FREE BEE has a special place in my heart... it's the first game I ever fully made! Well, I got many helpful tips from C.G. Parschalk. But ultimately FREE BEE is the first game I completed and have made available for... free! I mean, there is so little to it. One day I can imagine designing and hand-crafting a handsome version made out of wood and such, and that would be sold for some dollar amount. But for now FREE BEE is free to download and can be printed out however you like!
Everything you need to play the game is included on the downloadable sheet (including the rules for the game).
Here is the full-color version:
And here is an ink-saver black-and-white version:
ASSEMBLY TIPS:
The downloaded file is letter sized (8-1/2" x 11"). I highly recommend you print this on to cardstock.
Alternatively, you could print the game out on your typical 20 or 24lb paper and
adhere it to a thicker board (chipboard or cardboard), and then cut out the pieces!
This way your copy of FREE-BEE is sturdier and more durable!
See the video below for reference.
DIE:
You need one six-sided die to play FREE-BEE. I think your basic 16mm acrylic die is best...
but here is a digital die if you have a computer or smart phone handy!:
If you want to use the folded paper die and are looking for help
making it, check out this page:
